Thornton Hunt Inn - Thornton Curtis

Charming inn with really good service and local ales.

We had a perfectly pleasant stay for three nights in November.

The staff was attentive and helpful and we would stay here again. The hotel was what we really enjoyed during trip.

Great base for discovering Thornton Curtis with fairly friendly staff who kindly chatted with us at the end of her shift. Perfect and excellent location really close to the pub-Lincolnshire sausages, chips and onion gravy, Humber bridge, and north Lincolnshire in a local area.

Does it deliver?

The newly decorated room offered a fantastic night's sleep, and Shaun along with his team provided wonderful hospitality, making us feel welcome!

Some dining options were limited, and there were instances of meal service being a bit slow, leaving us waiting at times.

The homemade bread and butter pudding was really good, showcasing the inn's commitment to home-cooked quality.

The dinner selection felt a bit limited, which took away from an otherwise fantastic dining experience.

Charming atmosphere, friendly staff, who went out of their way to ensure we had a great time and to maintain the lovely gardens that added to the overall experience, and a conveniently located spot just 7 km from the nearest airport, making travel easy.

Warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere marked the stay, complemented by a home-cooked breakfast with good homemade jams. While the food was generally well-prepared, the dinner selection seemed somewhat limited, which could detract from the experience for some. Minor delays in meal service were noted, potentially affecting overall dining satisfaction.

The Double Room with Private Bathroom was cozy and well-kept.

Despite the overall pleasant atmosphere, the evening meal options felt a bit limited , while there were also minor complaints about meal timing-some orders took longer than expected. The breakfast prices seemed on the high side for what was offered, along with the overall noise from adjacent rooms affecting the peaceful vibe I was hoping for.

We enjoyed the free wifi and even took a day trip to Elsham Golf Club, just a short drive away. The friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was great, setting us up for a fun-filled day.

One small downside was that the dinner selection felt a bit limited on one of the nights, surprising considering the otherwise amazing food.

Cozy pub vibe!

The room was super comfy and quiet, a nice surprise. The home-cooked breakfast hit the spot, especially the fresh ingredients they use. Btw, they've got a great bar area to chill by the fire. One thing tho, I thought the dinner choices could've been a bit better, but still enjoyed it!

Warm hospitality characterizes this country inn, with comfortable en suite accommodations and generous breakfasts made from quality ingredients. The service can be slow during busy times. A visit is highly recommended for the atmosphere and well-cooked meals.

The hotel was an excellent base for enjoying the local area. It was really close to the pub, serving delicious Lincolnshire sausages, chips, and onion gravy. - We would definitely come back.

The twin room was great with an excellent breakfast, lovely decor, and the location couldn't be better near a proper pub, motorways, and Lincolnshire.

We had a great time at this traditional place, enjoying delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast.
